Thanks again to Artfully Ooglebloops for re-inspiring my Tea On Tuesday posts.
I recently took part in the teabag swap that was organized over there. I was matched up with Egmont who has a variety of great blogs. He very generously sent me a variety of his personal favorites.
First I opted to try an old favorite Genmaicha...
I used to drink this tea with oranges at 綠皮鴨 in Soho.
Then I tried the Mo Li Zhen Zhu he sent...
This tea has a personal touch and a light and delicate flavor that is quite excellent.
Finally I tried the Kukicha tea...
This twig tea had a reputation of being "earthy" which made me dubious due to my experiences with
Pu'erh, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this tea was no where near as strong as my husbands
favorite brew.
ummm, wonderful sounding teas.
I just made a lovely tea- mix of earl gray, tiny pink wild rose buds that I picked last summer in the woods and cardamon pods that I crushed to release the flavor, sweetened with agave.

knittenkitten ! I tried to comment on your most recent post on being so exhausted.
I understand that feeling all too well and the extreme pain episodes that have been hitting me are so horrible and draining. All I want to do is "play" in my garden and not have to pay so an impacting price for enjoying a bit of my life ?
But never mind that .. I am sorry you are feeling "it" all too much as well.
This post is lovely !!! I love seeing the tea pots and the actual tea : ) plus wow on the renovated blog girl : ) I love my brown template too .. but my header picture is way too big and I am trying to figure out how to down size it ?
I might just create a separate blog on this server for my sky pictures .. I have so many and I am very proud of the really good ones : )
I'm sorry I have been so "out of it" I need a week of rain to make me stop for a while (no matter the pain .. Ineed to be in my garden .. thus no recoup time and pain cycles in again and again .. go figure ? a simple enjoyment becomes a root of pain ?)
OK .. enough of me complaining ! Love the blog and this post is perfect : )

Hey there Joy.

Sorry to hear about your pain it really is no fun trying to live around your illness, but sometimes you just need to sit and watch your garden grow.I say rest and enjoy for now you've done a great job have a break!

What beautiful teas. My daughter in law enjoys pretty tea and I love to share them with her but, for some strange reason, rarely indulge alone. I'm going to need to change that!
